- Once you test drive and confirm the pick up of your PiggyCars vehicle. A simple E-Contract/Paper Contract will be provide to you at the date of pick up. First monthly subscription fee will be charged at the pick up date. Please read carefully, understand, confirm and sign the contract
The Down Payment is a non refundable amount set according to the lease term and mileage term on Piggycars.com automatic calculation system will be charged when you book your vehicle. The Down Payment does not include Monthly Payment or any kind, and it is non refundable.
In order to keep monthly payments affordable, each vehicle you pick through PiggyCars.com requires a subscription downpayment. This is a required fee before you pick up the vehicle of your desire. Just like a leasing downpayment without locking you into a three year contract.
Unlike traditional leases and loans for vehicles, you don't have to pay out of pocket for registration. PiggyCars will be responsible for DMV registration processing and handling fees and other administrative matters related with the PiggyCars vehicle of your choice. You don't need to worry about it.
PiggyCars prefer to have your credit card information on file in order to quickly and easily set up your auto payments.
On the other hand, if you as the driver got fines, tolls, fees or requirements imposed by government authorities in connection with the use of the PiggyCars vehicle, PiggyCars will have to process the above matters on behave of you and charge your credit card for these matters.
No. PiggyCars will strictly following the contract and will not post additional fees and charges to your account.
However, you are still responsible for and agree to pay any and all fines, tolls, fees or requirements imposed by government authorities in connection with the use of the PiggyCars vehicle. PiggyCars will charge you (using your original payment method on file) if PiggyCars will take over and handles for which you are responsible as described in this paragraph, plus a $30 administrative fee for processing in each instance. PiggyCars suggest you to drive responsibly and take actions once you run into these fines and tickets to prevent the additional fees.
In general, you as the person who request the PiggyCars vehicle is the official driver of the vehicle. PiggyCars is able to add up to four individual drivers to your Piggycars vehicle account as long as they each have their own full coverage insurance or purchase from PiggyCars full coverage insurance. For members of your immediate household who may regularly use the subscription vehicle so long as they're covered under the same insurance policy as the account holder. PiggyCars allow maximum of 4 different drivers to operate the subscribed vehicle.
The advantage of PiggyCars rental is that you can change the car anytime. You can change your vehicle according to PiggyCars subscription rule. You are able to switch to another PiggyCars vehicle of your choice Every 3 month. All you need to do is to notify PiggyCars 5 days in advance.
Monthly Subscription Fee:
If the monthly subscription fee of your newly selected vehicle is higher than your previous vehicle, all you need to do is to sign the new contract and start adjust to the updated monthly subscription payment.
If the monthly subscription fee of your newly selected vehicle is lower than your previous vehicle, all you need to do is to sign the new contract and start adjust to the updated monthly subscription payment.
Subscription Downpayment Fee:
If the subscription down payment of your newly selected vehicle is higher than that of your previous vehicle, you need to pay the downpayment difference.
If the subscription down payment of your newly selected vehicle is lower than that of your previous vehicle, the downpayment won't change and PiggyCars won't charge any downpayment from you.
Once the PiggyCars vehicle is picked up by you, you agree under your own expense to take care of your chosen PiggyCars vehicle, maintain, service the PiggyCars vehicle with a qualified or state licensed service provider according to the manufacturer's recommendations and as required by the terms of any applicable warranty. Maintenance varies from different vehicles. PiggyCars suggests to perform maintenance for every10,000 miles or perform the service when the service light is on. Please understand PiggyCars already conduct comprehensive service for the vehicle before your pick up, so any additional services after the pick up will be your responsibility.
The PiggyCars limited warranty covers most major mechanical components of the PiggyCars vehicle, with some exclusions.To find a list of what's not covered, you may visit the PiggyCars Subscription Agreement.
You may cancel this Agreement with no reason and return the PiggyCars vehicle within three (3) days after signing this Agreement for a refund, provided that the PiggyCars vehicle has been driven less than 100 miles and is in substantially the same condition. However, PiggyCars do CHARGE 30% of the down payment as cancellation fee. You must provide prior notice to PiggyCars and return the PiggyCars vehicle to the original dealership by 5 pm Pacific time on the third day from signing, unless otherwise directed by PiggyCars. After the applicable 3-day cancellation period, the Start Payment is non-refundable, and you must return the PiggyCars vehicle per paragraph 5. If PiggyCars notify you that the PiggyCars vehicle is ready and you do not pick up your PiggyCars vehicle within 5 days of signing for any reason, PiggyCars may cancel the transaction and process a full refund automatically.
In general, a PiggyCars fleet specialist will walk you through the vehicle before handing you the key. PiggyCars vehicle inspection sheet will show you the vehicle's current condition and you will sign to acknowledge of the vehicle condition. In terms of internal and mechanical problems such as engine and transmission problems, PiggyCars is responsible for the repair. Other than routine services, you are required to repair all collision damage prior to returning the PiggyCars vehicle. In the event such repairs are not made, the damage will be considered excess wear and tear and you will be charged the estimated cost.

Once the claim has been resolved, please provide PiggyCars with a copy of your claim and repair records.

Your insurance MUST meet California requirements for comprehensive and collision coverage. In a word, you MUST have a full coverage insurance in order to use a PiggyCars vehicle.
Minimum California Car Insurance Coverage:

- Bodily injury liability coverage: $15,000 per person / $30,000 per accident minimum
- Property damage liability coverage: $5,000 minimum

Please understand PiggyCars is the online platform. Each PiggyCars vehicle is provided to you by either an inventory providing party, a car rental company or a car dealership with valid dealer and vehicle rental license. PiggyCars must take actions to protect the vehicle providing party.
You can do this by simply tell your own insurance agent to add "PiggyCars Titling Trust" (or anyone PiggyCars designate) as an additional insured and loss payee to your full coverage insurance policy according to your contract.
When you're driving with Uber/Lyft/other ride-share platform, their commercial automotive insurance has you covered. However, when you drive offline, you'll need to have a comprehensive and collision policy with rideshare coverage from PiggyCars or another insurance provider.
Not all PiggyCars vehicles are pre-owned. We have about 30% new vehicles and 70% pre-owned vehicles.

An Updated vehicle registration card with your name will only issue to the users who subscribe the vehicle more than 6 month. Depending on your state, temporary registration may last 30 to 90 days to allow your motor vehicles division to process and mail to your psychical address.

1,000 miles/month is the standard base mileage for most PiggyCars vehicles, although that number can vary. The good news is that you can choose 1,200 miles/month, 1,500 miles/month, 2,000 miles/month or unlimited miles/month to fit your needs.
Yes, you can contact your PiggyCars fleet specialist to add/change your current mileage plan. We encourage you estimate your monthly mileage carefully or simply add extra miles upfront, as PiggyCars will charge $0.2/mile for miles beyond the monthly mileage allowance. Please note, if you drive less than the base mileage (eg. 10,000 miles), we do not refund for mileage below that point.

All other modifications require prior written approval by PiggyCars, which we may withhold at our sole discretion any accessory or modification must be professionally installed at your own cost in compliance with law. Any modifications or accessories left on the vehicle at return or that cannot be removed become part of the PiggyCars vehicle and the property of PiggyCars
